These stackable lenses can be

They are double threaded and you can use additionally other filters,

UV Protector filter
- protects
your camera lens from dust, moisture, scratches and
fingerptins
- provides additional benefits of
correction for Ultraviolet(UV) light which can register on film and
videotape as a bluish cast and can obscure distant details

PL Polarizer filter
- removes
unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass

ND4 Neutral Density filter
- ND4 filter reduces the amount of

- To enable slow shutter speeds to be
used, especially with fast films (or digital equivalent), to record
movement in subjects such as waterfalls, clouds, cars, seas etc.
- To decrease depth
of field by allowing wider apertures to be used, which helps separate
subjects from their background.
- To decrease the
effective ISO of high speed film (ie: above ISO400 - or digital
equivalent) and allow it to be used outdoors in bright situations.
- To allow cine and
video cameras (which have fixed shutter speeds) to film subjects such
as snow, sand or other bright scenes which would normally cause
over-exposure.
